I have been promoted to Color Educator

Starting this January I will not only be a hairstylist at Viselli Santoro Salon, I will also be the color educator.  I will be teaching our assistants, who are all licensed hairstylists, advance color techniques and formulation.  I am very excited for this new venture.

Coming in the New Year!

Starting in the new year we will be having a day of pampering for Moms on Fridays.  Women can enjoy a manicure while having their hair colored and cut all in under two hours.  Hor'dourves and refreshments will also be served.  More information coming soon.

Fashion Show for CW Designs and JNG Creations

Myself along with three other Viselli Santoro Salon stylists, styled hair for the CW Designs and JNG Creations fashion show at the Bufinch Hotel on Saturday evening.  The theme was Mystical Forest and the designs were absolutely beautiful.  Each model had a head piece which were all very creative and beautiful by JNG Creations.  I will be adding more photos from this show very soon.

Highlights Without Highlighting

Are you a brunette or redhead and your color seems to fade between your color visits?  Most hair color does fade to a degree.  Would you like natural looking highlights without damaging your hair?  I now use a technique to give your hair a multidimensional look by utilizing the hair that has faded.  After applying your single process to your roots, I then instead of applying color to your ends I lowlight balayage pieces of the hair.  This makes the hair that has faded look like beautiful natural-looking highlights.  The benefit to this is that it's less processing on the hair, and takes much less time and money then traditional highlights.  This is my client Jessica.  We enhance her natural red hair and cover her grey with a single process.  When her hair color fades I add lowlights which are the color of the roots.  She now has a slight bit of dimension which makes her red look natural.

Beauty Night for Breast Cancer

I would like to thank everyone who came out Saturday, October 22 for our Beauty Night for Breast Cancer.  It was an incredible success and everyone had a wonderful time.  We raised almost $4400 benefiting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Susan G. Komen for the Cure for important cancer research.  I am so proud of my team at Viselli Santoro Salon for giving a 110% effort into this amazing night.  Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors who donated our raffle prizes, silent auction items, food, drinks, and more.  A special thanks to Caryn at Bostone who supplied us with soft drinks and all of our party supplies, Teatro for our delicious appetizers, Ben and Jerry's for our ice cream cake, and Brendan Simms for all the liquor we enjoyed.  Their are so many more people to thank.  I hope we see you at our breast cancer event next October.
