Frizzy Hair Season

I'm sure most of us suffer from frizzy hair in warm, humid weather. The key to controlling frizz is the products you use in your hair. That includes your shampoo and conditioner. You want to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. My favorite shampoos for frizz - Sojurn Smoothing and Goldwell Real Moisture Shampoo. Both have a low ph and are sulfate free. My favorite conditioners - Sojurn Smoothing, Goldwell Real Moisture Conditioner and Oribe Signature masque. Now for your styling products: I love Oribe's Supershine Moisturizing Cream, Goldwell Kerasilk Rich Care Anti-Frizz Serum, and Moroccan oil. I hope you have a smooth summer.

After almost 14 years experience I still love every minute of being a hairstylist. I have enjoyed traveling the country to gain a solid educational background that includes training from Vidal Sassoon, Goldwell, Wella, Paul Mitchell, Frederick Fekkai, Oscar Bond, and Aveda. I have also had exclusive training with world renowned Colorist, Beth Minardi and Carmine Minardi while working in their New York City Salon as well as Icon Trevor Sorbie and finally with Vivenne MacKinder of Oscar Bond Salon in New York City.

My educational background in graphic design and photography contributes to my artistic abilities as a stylist. This allows a fresh and unique prospective when consulting with clients to determine what will best suit the client.

I am also an advanced color educator. I teach licensed hair stylists advanced techniques and formulation. I trained with Kemon Italian hair color as a regional educator.

With an enviable combination of education and experience I have also attracted celebrity clientele such as Musicians Ozzy Osbourne and Rodrigo Sanchez, Olympic Figure Skater Michelle Kwan, and Phantom Gourmet host Dave Andelman. I frequently style hair for many photo shoots and fashion shows, including multiple fashion spreads for Nicole Miller, Philadelphia Style Magazine, the Celtics Dancers , an episode of "5 Takes" on the Travel Channel as well as the Feature Film "The Champion".

With my professional experience in major cities such as Philadelphia, New York and Boston, I am confident I am able to meet and exceed the needs of any client that sits in my chair.
